Dr Angela CarpenterSchool of Earth and Environment I am a social scientist who specialises in research into governance and policy measures relating to maritime ports, installations, and shipping, and also marine environmental protection.  Recently I have been working on issues around the sustainable redevelopment of seaports; security of maritime ports and harbours, and ship security; and also on oil pollution in the North Sea.
