Jan Selby is Professor of International Politics and Climate Change in Leeds' School of Politics and International Studies, where he researches and teaches on the links between climatic and environmental changes, and structures and dynamics of politics and power. Much of Jan’s work focuses on water, in particular the implications of water resource development and water scarcities for conflict, peacemaking and security. His work is informed by a combination of political ecology and critical International Relations, and has a particular focus on the Middle East and North Africa, especially Israel-Palestine.
