Professor Gordon Mitchell (BSc, PhD, MISEP, C.Env) is an environmental geographer working across three connected themes: Water as hazard (water demand/scarcity, water pollution, flood); sustainable urban and regional development; and environmental inequality / justice. He bridges physical and social sciences using spatial analysis and qualitative methods to enrich understanding of complex human-environment phenomena.
