Thames21 and water@leeds organised a workshop on Marine and Riverine Plastic Pollution. The event included presentations of plastic pollution experts and discussions on how NGO's and Researchers can work together to find solutions. Costas Velis from the University of Leeds presented and overview on current research into sources of litter and the routes into aquatic environments. The discussion sessions were organised by Chris Coode (Thames 21) and Gabriela Lopez-Gonzalez (water@leeds) to capture gaps in knowledge and explore new opportunites for collaboration.
