In 2024, Ice Club submitted written evidence to the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee for their report on The UK and the Antarctic environment. This report has now been published, with their evidence cited widely, particularly in providing recommendations on the support from UKRI to ECRs in glaciology.

Ice Club is a PGR led group comprised of predominantly Early Career Researchers (ECRs) who work in the School of Geography. Its members conduct research across a broad range of scientific disciplines that investigate the response of the cryosphere to climate change.
