Introductory Webinar, 7 February 2023

This was an opportunity to hear from, and engage with, leaders of each of the five projects within the UK Freshwater Programme about their plans to tackle water quality issues. Also about how they will be addressing a significant gap in our understanding of how pollutants enter, transform and interact within rivers, and with the ecosystems that rivers support. We also heard from guest speakers who outlined, from their perspective, some of the water quality challenges we face in the UK.

The webinar was the first step towards bringing together researchers, practitioners and policy makers who are interested in the Programme so they could learn more about each of the projects and how they can get involved.
