Face to Face workshop - 20 February 2023
This was the first in-person workshop held for all the leads and their partners involved in the five projects, included in the £9m UK Freshwater Programme, funded by Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
It was a chance to introduce and learn about each project during a series of lightning talks and to meet some of the key representatives involved.
The aim was to share and discuss the aims of each project, what is unique about the research, the outputs, connections between the projects and how those involved can work together to achieve greater impact. There were also discussions about management of data sets, pathways to deliver impact, stakeholder mapping and effective communications.
