Water-Wiser PhD studentships

Date

Water-WISER CDT PhD studentships available:

The EPSRC-funded Water-WISER CDT is recruiting PhD students for entry in September 2020.

A Water-WISER PhD offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the generation of new knowledge to improve water, waste & sanitation infrastructure and services for the poorest and most marginalised members of our global community.

Students receive full funding (>£15k per year stipend plus tuition fees paid) and additionally £20k funding for a 6 month fieldwork placement in the Global South.

The Water-WISER CDT is hosted in Civil Engineering but is truly interdisciplinary, and will consider students from a wide range of backgrounds, including health, environmental, social, and physical sciences.

The Water-WISER CDT is shared between Leeds, Cranfield and Loughborough.

Currently all places at Leeds are filled for September 2020, so please note that remaining studentships will be physically located at either Cranfield or Loughborough (but with many opportunities to network and collaborate).

For more information, please visit www.waterwisercdt.ac.uk

The next deadline for applications is 24th April.

Supervisors/module leaders: please encourage final year students to consider this route.
