Mission 4: Train new innovative, excellent and  interdisciplinary water experts to work at the cutting edge of water research, management and policy

water@leeds is one of the largest centres for water research in any university in the world, and the water@leeds Doctoral Research and Training Centre (DRTC) is the world’s largest interdisciplinary centre for postgraduate students. We currently have a network of over 373 students from a wide range of Faculties across the University of Leeds and we are constantly growing, with the target of recruiting 100 new students a year.

The primary aim of the water@leeds DRTC is to maximise opportunities for new researchers to conduct high-quality research and obtain skills necessary to become experts in interdisciplinary water research.
