Opportunities to develop Doctoral Training networks

water@leeds staff have expertise in developing and managing a range of doctoral training networks, both nationally and internationally. For example we have successfully led the EU Innovative Training Network Euro-FLOW , the EPSRC Water-WISER Centre for Doctoral Training and the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Fluid Dynamics. Our staff also play major roles in the Leverhulme Extinction Studies Programme and the NERC Centre for Satellite Data in Environmental Science.

As part of our Next Generation strategy we are keen to work with academics from across the university to help them plan and apply for funding sources, and we are open to collaboration with external institutes who seek to incorporate our expertise in their bids. Key funding opportunities include the following:

Natural Environment Research Council Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) (deadline typically June).

Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) (deadline typically March).

Leverhulme doctoral Training centres (deadline typically June).

EU Marie Curie doctoral networks (deadline typically November).

Please contact water@leeds.ac.uk if you wish to discuss a potential application.
